Weird iPhone Apps for the Body
46From measuring your performance in the sack to timing labor contractions, there is a iPhone app for just about everything. Here are 3 weird iPhone apps focused on the body and its various functions.
1. Passion
Ever wonder if you're doing it and doing it and doing it well? Well, wonder no more. The Passion iPhone is here to evaluate and record your lovemaking skills!
How does it work? Users must simply place the iPhone on his or bed (or wherever the action is going down) and make the magic happen. The application measures one's skills based on the duration of sex, the volume of orgasms, and the "power" involved in a lovemaking session. Lovers can earn a score anywhere between 1 and 10 and they may even share their results with others. Oh baby.
Call me psychic, but I'm pretty sure this app was designed by a man.
2. Birth Buddy
So, you've spent hours perfecting your technique on the Passion app, but now there is one little problem. Your woman is pregnant!
Don't worry. Birth Buddy has got you covered. Birth Buddy allows fetus-packing women and/or their significant others to track the length and frequency of labor contractions. If you want to share this fascinating information with your beloved meemaw or the guys at the office, you can! Your friends and family will be on the edge of their seats.
Be sure to follow up this information with lots of photos and video of the actual birth.
3. AcneApp
Got zits? Forget Proactiv. Teens everywhere will soon be clamoring for AcneApp!
Designed by a Houston dermatologist with "some science" in mind, AcneApp uses alternating bursts
of red and blue light to zap away unslightly pimples and smooth out
wrinkles. To use, acne-afflicted individuals simply need to fire up the
app, hold the iPhone up to their faces, and say goodbye to ugly blemishes.
AcneApp hasn't been approved by the FDA (surprise, surprise), so the alleged medical benefits haven't been confirmed, but the app's creator insists that light treatments are more effective in battling acne than over-the-counter medication. We'll see.
